>The American Bar Association Backs Marriage Equality

>Without so much as a herein or a hereto, a hereby or heretofore, without one single herewith, whereby or wherefore, the American Bar Association has unequivocally–yeah, they threw in an unequivocally–backed civil marriage rights for gay and lesbian couples.
The ABA resolution, adopted less than one week after a federal judge struck down California’s Prop H8 as unconstitutional, acknowledges that same-sex couples “are only seeking to participate in an equal basis in a foundational institution of our civil life….[t]hey simply want to share in the legal blessings that we give to married couples. It can only strengthen marriage.”
We simply want to share…..it can only strengthen marriage.
